Hello !

Hi friends!
I hope you are not bored seeing my cards with Mudra stamps. Today I have my last card to share from my Debut Post. Here's a look at it :

As I had written in my earlier post, this set is my absolute new favorite. This Wild Florals set by Mudra has really caught my eye and I love working with it.

To create this card, I first took an A2 card base in White. I die-cut another card panel which was approximately a quarter inch smaller than my card base. It was die-cut using a Gina Marie die from a watercolored panel I had created earlier. Next, I die-cut another white card panel using my Gina Marie Stitched Rectangles die and created a textured background using embossing paste and a stencil by Winnie & Walter - Do you see what I see.
It was time to now create the focal of my card and I stamped and clear heat embossed the florals from the Mudra Wild Florals set and colored them using various shades of Distress inks. I fussy-cut the images and popped them on my foam tape for some lovely dimension. To finish off, I stamped and hand cut the sentiment which is from the Altenew- Label Love set and added some black paint splatters and sequins.

I really enjoyed creating this card and hope you liked it too. Do leave me your comments/suggestions. I love to hear from you!

I'm entering my card in the following challenges :
Creative with Stamps, Happy Little Stampers- Anything goes with Dies, Wow Embossing Powder Challenge (I have used clear embossing powder for the flowers & leaves) and Uniko Studio -Flowers and Time out Challenges (I was inspired by the white, black and red colours as well as the florals on the pillow)

Have a nice day everyone!

On your Special Day

Hi friends!
This is third card I made for my Mudra post. I personally liked this one a lot, here's a look at my card :

Unlike my usual cards, I have not used a white card base here and gone with black. I really like how the flowers pop up against the stark black background.
If you see closely, you can see that I have dry embossed a clock on my card panel. I did that using my Embossing Tan Mats and have used a PaperTrey Ink die for doing so. As I mentioned in my previous post, it's my newest buy and I really love it a lot. It adds such a nice subtle texture to my card.

To make this card, I took a piece of an A4 black cardstock & folded it in half to create to create a top folding card. I die-cut a card front panel using my Gina Marie Stitched dies. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Botanical Blooms set by Mudra. The inks I have used here are from the Altenew Minis in Red Cosmos & Cool Summer Night. Fussy-cut the flowers and the foliage and arranged them around the embossed area. I added some color coordinated ink spatters on the card front & to finish off,  I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to give some sparkle and shine. Finally added the sentiment for my card which is also from a Mudra set.

I'm entering my card in the Virginia's View ChallengeCreative with Stamps, Aud Sentiments and Creatilicious Challenges.

I hope you are liking my stamped cards! Do leave in your comments/suggestions. I love hearing from you :)

Have a nice day everyone!

Black & Blue Floral Card

Hello everyone,
I'm back with another card I made for my debut post at Mudra. You may be wondering why I am writing the same introduction once again. Well, if you had checked out my post, you must have seen that I made 4 cards and so I'm sharing them all one by one here :D
So, here's a look at the second card I made!

The stamp set used on my card is designed by a very good friend of mine, Ruchi of Ruchi's Crafeteria and I totally love it so much. It has so many floral images and is such a versatile set to work with. You will see me posting more card using it soon :)

To make this card, I took a piece of white card base measuring 4 1/4 inches by 5 and a 1/2 inches. I also
die-cut a card panel measuring a 1/4 of an inch smaller than my card base.
Now, for the interesting part - I made that circle background myself by using the left-over die-cut circles from my PTI die that I used on my last card. I popped all of them on foam dots and adhered them on the card panel on equal intervals to create a geometric pattern. I thought it looked quite cool :D
Now for the main focal of my card - I stamped and clear heat embossed flowers & leaves from the Wild Florals set on a watercolor paper. I have used Distress inks to color the flowers and foliage. After the colours dried,  I fussy-cut my images and foam mounted them using double sided foam tape. That wonderful sentiment is by Altenew and I stamped it on a cardstock strip which I lightly colored using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I then die-cut it using a die from the same Gina Marie set that I used for my card front. I then colored the edges of the card base using the same colour of Distress ink to match with my flowers so that it all ties in together and my card was done :)

I'm entering my card in the STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge, Cards and More- Embossing (I have clear embossed my flowers & leaves), Use Your Stuff - I have used dies on my card, OSAAT - Anything Goes with elements of Nature.

I hope you liked my card. If you did, please do leave me  your comments/suggestions regarding it. I love to hear from you!

Layered Floral Card

Hello friends,
I am back to share my card I made for my debut post at Mudra. I will be sharing them one by one here. Here's a look at the first card I made using their stamps.

To make this card, I took a piece of white cardstock measuring 4 1/4 inches by 5 and a 1/2 inches. Next, I took a piece of another white cardstock and die-cut a frame a 1/4 of an inch smaller than my card base.
I then die-cut the clock from some black cardstock ( It's by PaperTrey Ink and my newest buy) :D I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Mudra- Botanical Blooms set using Altenew Layering Inks in Red Cosmos, Summer Afternoon & Green Fields and fussy-cut them. I then arranged my floral cluster till I was satisfied. Highlighted the stamped images with some black acrylic paint splatters on the side.
To add more interest to the card,  I added bits of Washi tape to balance my floral arrangement so that it is visually appealing to the eye. Finally, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in Gold which I have taken from the Altenew- Sentiments & Quotes stamp set  and that's it, my card was done :)

I'm entering my card in the Virginia's View Challenge- All about Colours, Happy Little Stampers- Anything Goes with Dies, NordSalten HobbyKlubb - Flowers, & Pile it On- My favorite colours are Pinks, blues and yellows.

I hope you like my card. Do leave me your comments/suggestions. I love to hear from you :)

You are amazing!

Hello everyone!
I have a card to share today which I made for the Papericious July Challenge. We have a Moodboard challenge for you this time to be inspired with. You can check out all the details HERE on the Papericious blog. Here's my card inspired by it.

(I was inspired by the colours as well as the white mulberry flowers, the woodgrain background and the mesh from the Moodboard)

I have used the Papericious - My Golden Garden paper for the base, then layered it with the Papericious Wooden collection and finally used the Papericious Infinity Collection papers for die-cutting that doily.
The flowers are from my stash and I have added some Stickles on them for adding some shimmer. The leaves have been colored using Inka Gold which were die-cut from a Sizzix die. The bow is  made using Creme Seam Binding Ribbon. The hat-pins are from my stash again.

I have added a crotchet lace and the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punched border for layering. The sentiment is from the Altenew - Sentiments & Quotes set which has been heat-embossed using Ranger Gold Tinsel Embossing powder. I added a small butterfly from Martha Stewart to finish off my card!

I'm entering my card in the Lulupu - July Sketch Challenge ( I have flipped the sketch upside down) , Peek-a-Boo Designs - Layers Challenge, Card-Mania - Lace and Pearls, Happy Little Stampers - Anything  goes with Dies

I hope you liked my card. Please do leave me your comments/suggestions. I love hearing from you :)

You are Loved | Photo Tutorial

Hello everyone!
I'm back to share my second card that I made for my DT post at Pretty Paper Studio. I shared one card earlier HERE, incase you have missed seeing it.
I'm sharing the second one today with a step by step tutorial on how I made it. Here's a look at both the cards.

TUTORIAL

Step 1 – I started with a piece of White cardstock measuring 4 1/4 inches by 5 and a 1/2 inches and I decided to create a stenciled background using The Crafter’s Workshop- Mini Cubist stencil & Distress ink- Hickory Smoke using the Ranger Mini Round Ink Blending Tool. I created some splatters on my card using the Heidi Swapp Color Shine- Rose Mist.

Step 2 – Once the background was created, I again stamped the flowers and the foliage using the Paper Smooches Clear Stamps 4″X6″ – Botanicals 3 stamp set. I stamped my flowers using 2 colours of ink- Cotton Candy from the Altenew Four Scoops ink set and Papertrey Ink Pure Poppy Ink. The leaves were stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. These were all fussy-cut.

Step 3 – I used the Cheery Lynn- Anastasia border die to die-cut a border from Black CS, and added a strip of that pretty Washi Tape to my card base to anchor my floral arrangement. These flowers and leaves are all popped up on foam dots to give them a bit of dimension.

Step 4 – For the sentiment, I went for the Simon Says Stamp – Expressions for You stamp and die set. I  die-cut that ‘You’ using black cardstock and the ‘are loved’ is stamped. I distressed the edges of the piece using Altenew Cotton Candy ink pad.

Step 5– A complete look of the card. I mounted it on a white card base whose edges I had colored using Altenew’s Cotton Candy ink so that a hint of the pink shows through the all four sides!

Tag Album | Photo Tutorial

Hello friends!
Today I have a Tag Album to share and I also have a step by step tutorial on how I created it. This was made way back in May, but I just kept feeling lazy and never got around posting it. Anyhow, I hope you like it. :)

In the meantime, here’s a detailed look of this tag album. I have created a 5 page album and embellished it using die-cuts from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack and the base papers used in the album are from Graphic 45 Mon Amour Collection & Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection.
