Hello everyone,
I'm back with another card I made for my debut post at Mudra. You may be wondering why I am writing the same introduction once again. Well, if you had checked out my post, you must have seen that I made 4 cards and so I'm sharing them all one by one here :D
So, here's a look at the second card I made!
I'm back with another card I made for my debut post at Mudra. You may be wondering why I am writing the same introduction once again. Well, if you had checked out my post, you must have seen that I made 4 cards and so I'm sharing them all one by one here :D
So, here's a look at the second card I made!
The stamp set used on my card is designed by a very good friend of mine, Ruchi of Ruchi's Crafeteria and I totally love it so much. It has so many floral images and is such a versatile set to work with. You will see me posting more card using it soon :)
To make this card, I took a piece of white card base measuring 4 1/4 inches by 5 and a 1/2 inches. I also
die-cut a card panel measuring a 1/4 of an inch smaller than my card base.
Now, for the interesting part - I made that circle background myself by using the left-over die-cut circles from my PTI die that I used on my last card. I popped all of them on foam dots and adhered them on the card panel on equal intervals to create a geometric pattern. I thought it looked quite cool :D
Now for the main focal of my card - I stamped and clear heat embossed flowers & leaves from the Wild Florals set on a watercolor paper. I have used Distress inks to color the flowers and foliage. After the colours dried, I fussy-cut my images and foam mounted them using double sided foam tape. That wonderful sentiment is by Altenew and I stamped it on a cardstock strip which I lightly colored using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I then die-cut it using a die from the same Gina Marie set that I used for my card front. I then colored the edges of the card base using the same colour of Distress ink to match with my flowers so that it all ties in together and my card was done :)

I'm entering my card in the STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge, Cards and More- Embossing (I have clear embossed my flowers & leaves), Use Your Stuff - I have used dies on my card, OSAAT - Anything Goes with elements of Nature.
I hope you liked my card. If you did, please do leave me your comments/suggestions regarding it. I love to hear from you!
