Celebrate! :)..

Hi friends,
Today I have a joy-fold card to share with you all....I have made a fold -card after a long time ..I usually love working on either square or rectangle cards!...But this fold was quite fun and easy to do as well!..This card has been inspired by Shruti's card which she had shared on the Lulupu blog!...So here's a look at My card and some details..!!

And this is how it looks when lying flat....

And this is how the card looks when it is half -opened...

And the full view now...

And now here's a look at Shruti's card on which my card is based....

I just love Shruti's work a lot especially the way she uses her colors and her stamped and fussy-cut flowers look just awesome!...I have taken inspiration from the flowers and her color scheme and put my  own twist on it!...Hope its half as beautiful as Shruti's though!..I have made my flowers from the MFT die and colored it using distress inks.

Guest Designing for IBSIC # 51! :)

Hi friends,
The card I am sharing today was made for my GD post at Inspired by Stamping inspiration Challenge # 51....So here's a look at my card first :-

And another view :-

My card is based on the color inspiration provided by the IBS ...Which is White,Orange and Green ...Here's a look at the color palette :

These colors are so vibrant and of course co -incidentally also the colors of our Indian national flag  :)...It was tough to use to use these colors but with a little hard work and with the help of lot of dies...LOL! ...This is what I have created :) ...The orange rose is handmade using the Layered rose die from MFT ...I am so in love with it !! ...The rest of leaves and foliage is all from Cheery-Lynn ...Even the banner on which I have stamped the sentiment is made from Cheery Lynn Lace Deco F corners by doing some clever cutting & sticking it on the sides of the small strip of white cardstock ...And I have covered a strip of white cardstock with Washi Tape and cut it out using a decorative scissors to create the scallop border in the bottom half of my card ...I love using washi tapes they are so versatile !!..So that's about all the info about my card !!
I am entering my this card too in Brenda's challenge as we both love using the trellis design and Brenda has made so many gorgeous trellis cards which you can see Here ,Here And  Here . ...:)

Hi Friends,
Today the card that I am sharing is the one that I have made for my GD post at Catchy Challenges run by Deepti ..She has started this new challenge blog with some really Fab challenges and Yummy Prizes ....So  do check out her blog Here ..And  here's a look at my card  based on her challenge :-

Since this card had to be based on the inspiration picture below I had to play along with only two colors so I kept my base brown and scored my cardstock on the bottom half using MS score board and to darken the upper half I inked it with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then stamped and colored some flower then fussy cut them and popped them on dimensions also placed an die cut flourish below and inked it in blue as well ...Oh and did you notice the blue ribbon bow ...Well that is the Seam Binding ribbon which I had got from Priya's store and inked it using A -La -Mode dye ink to match with my flowers :) ...Doesn't that look Fabby :)...If you are interested on how to color your Seam Binding I have a Tutorial Here

Supplies Used :
Base CS : Local buy
Stamps : Inkadinkadoo Doodle flowers and Small wooden  alphabet stamps (Candy from Yvonne :)
