Inspiration for Crafter's Corner # 7! :)...

Hi everyone,
Sharing with you a hand-made frame today which I have made for the inspiration at Crafter's Corner where our this time's challenge is -Bingo set by ME :)..Do check it out HERE....So here's a look at My frame :-

And a closer look at the flowers ...This particular orange flower I had made along with the flower in my THIS Trellis card...But after making it I found it too dark an orange so was not able to use it on the card!...But when I sat down to make this frame I thought this color contrasted very well with my background pattern paper for my frame....

All the small flowers with the stamen in the centre I have punched out from a hand-made paper and colored it with Distress inks...Infact all the leaves ,the flourishes and even the flowers all are colored using Distress inks!...These inks are so bright and they blend in so well with all kinds of paper and the advantage is by using Distress Inks you can create any color cardstock of your choice....And once after coloring if you find the color too bright you can always tone it down by just spritzing water over it!.

Supplies Used :-
Hand-made paper frame -Candy from Devika.
Patter paper- Papermenia Joyeux Noel.
Dies : MFT Layered Rose,Cheery Lynn Olive Branches,Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish,Cheery Lynn tropical flourish,Cheery Lynn Mini French Pastry doily,Cheery Lynn Lace Deco corners(F),Cheery Lynn Exotic 3 in 1 butterflies..

Inks : Distress ink Ripe Persimmon,Shabby Shutters,Memento Pear Tart.

And a peek into how it looks on the inside as well :

Okay now a little bit about my card ...I have used the Webster's Pages DP  for my base and I have distressed it using a small pair of scissors to create the whole shabby chic  look...
