Gift Tags!

Hello everyone,
I am back today sharing a few tags I have made using some Winnie and Walter stamps for their belated birthday celebration. I had a lot of fun watercoloring the images and creating watercolor background for these. Here's a look at the tags I have made :

To create my first tag I did some masking and stamped my image and sentiment before watercoloring that cute
bird from the Winnie & Walter set Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs. The background is stencilled with some distress inks using Winnie & Walter Creative Screening Scenery - Do You See What I See? Creative Screenings.

For my second tag, I used a black cardstock as my base and stamped and heat embossed the dotted wreath using Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder and Winnie & Walter stamp - Comfort + Joy. The flowers and leaves are from Winnie & Walter In Bloom: Hollie's Festive Florals and The Write Stuff: Leave it to Mom. The sentiment is from the Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs stamp set.

The third tag was pretty quick to make! I just stamped the flower and leaves from the In Bloom : Anna's flora set and water colored it using Distress inks. The sentiment is from Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs  I masked it and stamped it one by one.

Altenew - February Challenge

Hello everyone!
I have a quick card to share which I had created a few days back. It is totally inspired from the gorgeous inspiration picture that Yana had shared on the Altenew blog.
Here's a look at my card based on the inspiration picture.

Here's a look at the inspiration photo from where I have derived my inspiration for this card!
February Challenge: From Places Abroad - Cyprus

I was not only inspired by the colours, but also the ornate detailing of the metal grill on the doors. I tried to incorporate it in my card by dry embossing a strip of black cardstock and  lightly coloring it using Viva Decor Inka Gold on the embossed area.
The strips of yellow, black & blue on the side of my card were inspired by the background stripes of this inspiration picture. For me the inspiration was not only mainly visual, but also color based too!
I have used the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set to create my main focal as well as for the sentiment too which was heat embossed using Gold Tinsel embossing powder from Ranger. The coloring on my flowers & leaves were done using different shades of Distress inks. I just stamped the outline image of the stamp and tried to shade it to give it a more natural look.
I am also entering my card in the SSS wednesday challenge - Anything goes
I hope you like my card & my take on the challenge. Looking forward to hear your views. :)

Birthday Wishes - Inlaid Die-cutting Card

Hi friends!
I'm back again and today I have a card to share made using the Inlaid Die-cutting technique. This is my first try at this technique and I totally loved the end results. Here's a look at the card I made using it.

Another view :

To make this card, I first die cut the flowers using Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Extras cutaway from a 4.5 inch X 5.5 inch card panel and then I stamped and colored my die cut pieces using the co-ordinating stamp The Big, the Bold and Extras set. Before I placed my die cut pieces back into my original die cut panel I distressed one side of my panel using Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink and stamped my sentiment on the base using the stamp set from Winnie and Walter, The Big, the Bold and Party.

I took a quick photo of my inlaid die cut pieces before I completely assembled it and this is how it looks :)

Hope you all like my card. Do leave me your comments/suggestions I love to hear from you :)

Wish you the most beautiful day!

Hello friends,
I have a card to share today and it's a watercolored card using the Winnie and Walter floral stamps. I had so much fun stamping and coloring these papers using my trusted, Distress inks, yet again! Here's a look at what I've created.

The gorgeous red rose is from Winnie and Walter - In Bloom: Elsa's Flora which has been stamped and watercolored using three shades of Distress inks - Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick & Vintage Photo.
The leaves are colored using Twisted Citron Distress ink and are from Winnie and Walter - In Bloom: Elsa's Flora & Winnie and Walter in Bloom - Anna's Flora.
The background trellis against which I have done my floral arrangement is also a beautiful stamp from Winnie and Walter called Mini Scenery - Do You See What I See? which I have gold embossed using Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder and watercolored that panel loosely using Distress inks!
I was pretty happy with the outcome of this card & I hope you all like it too!

Winnie and Walter 2nd Birthday Celebrations - Take 2!

Hello friends,
I am  back again with a card today and I am pretty excited about it too....A few days ago I came across a card on Instagram created by Diane Jaquay and it had a plaid background which was created using Distress inks and flat brushes. I was so inspired by the gorgeous card that Diane had made that I had to give it a try and here's what I have created using this technique

 And a another view :
This is how I created the panel for my card using three different colors of Distress ink along with two different sizes of paint brush to create the plaid pattern.

To create my focal, I first die cut three circles using different sizes of circle die and I lightly colored my circles using Distress inks and foam mounted them in the centre of my card. The flowers and leaves are from the Winnie & Walter :In Bloom : Elsa's Flora and In Bloom : Anna's Flora
I die cut the banner using The big,the bold and Extra cutaways on a piece of Vellum and the sentiment is from the : The Big,the bold and extra stamp set using Versafine  Onyx Black ink.
I have water colored my flowers and leaves using various Distress inks on a piece of watercolored cardstock and fussy cut it before popping it up on my card panel.

You are precious!!

Hello friends,
I have a card to share today and this one is way overdue. I had created this quite sometime back and shared a sneak peek on my instagram too but just now getting to blog about it.
I have a Valentines' day card to share using a stamp set from Varna's Creations. This is an Indian based stamp company run by a super sweet person Varshitha and she had sent across this set to me. :) Her stamps are high quality photopolymer stamps and give really good crisp impressions. I had lot of fun creating with this set and here's is what I have come up with :

To create the heart, I first stamped and heat embossed the image using Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder and watercolored the image using Distress inks- Fossilized Amber & Picked Raspberry. Then, I paper pieced the heart anf foam mounted it on my card base. To create my background, I inked a piece of white cardstock using Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral and Fired Brick Distress inks. The sentiment is from Winnie and Walter- Precious stamp set. I also did a partial bleaching technique using a Winnie and Walter stencil and water.

I am entering this card for Winnie and Walter's Belated 2nd Birthday bash : Gold + Watercolor challenge with Heather H.

I hope you like my card. Do leave your comments/suggestions. Would love to hear from you!
Have a nice day everyone!
