RIBBON FLOWER CARD.

Hi friends, today i am posting a card which i have made  for Erums challenge on Yvonne's blog  have a look first:

i have cased one of Erum's card  and u can see it here  though the basic layout is same i have done some changes in the design ,as you all know it's a mighty difficult task to case anything of a master crafter like Erum but i have done my bit  and hope you all like my work.
And now something about the card itself, i have used a paper mania DP as my background as i felt it could complement the shabby chic look i was trying to create, the flower was made using a 1 inch offwhite satin ribbon and followed Erums tutorial to a T ,but have to admit that the easy tutorial is made difficult to follow because i could not get the ribbon to stick on paper using an ordinary craft glue it made getting the pleated look difficult but i plodded ahead like a dilligent person and ended up with a flower i could be happy about somehow.
the sentiment is stamped on a tag by itsy bitsy and the butterfly is  from a inkadinkadoo clear stamp and colored using faber castell color pencils.Oh and i have added mock stiching on the side which u might have to strain to see:) that's about all .
Thanks for stopping by and please do leave me some feed back as all comments are highly appreciated ,have a good day everyone.

  10. Thank you for such sweet words! You yourself are a master quilling artist! I am a fan of your super neat and intricate work!
Thank you for CASEing my card, I am honoured. The flower is fabulous, you just have to have the right glue to make the ruffles and if you dont have one then a needle and thread should do :)
You have done a perfect job making the flower and I super love the monochromatic look with the pop of colours on the butterfly. Absolutely gorgeous Hussena!
