Happy 8th Birthday | Card

Hello everyone!
This is my final card for the day. If you would like to see my first two cards, you can check them out HERE and HERE.

I have this super fun card to share I made using several stamps and dies from Winnie and Walter. I never make masculine cards, but I think this one would fit the category very well! It would be perfect to give to a boy. Here's how my card looks:

I have done quite a bit of layering on this card. To start with, I first trimmed a piece of kraft cardstock to adhere to my card base. I also die cut a white panel using a Stitched Rectangles die to create my card panel. Once all the base preparation was done, I began to work on the focal of my card. I die cut balloons from different patterned papers except for the large polka dots balloon in red, which was stamped and then die cut. I used the Big Round Balloon Cutaways to die cut the balloons. The large polka dots balloon in red was stamped and die cut using the Ring in the Celebration stamp & coordinating die set

I wanted my sentiment to read "Happy 8th Birthday" so I stamped the number eight and the 'th' using stamps from the Typecast: Cary set and fussy cut them and adhered them to my panel. The word 'happy' is from the In a Word: Happy Coordinating Cutaways. I die cut it from white cardstock several times and layered them one on top of the other to give it a raised look. I also lightly inked the die cut using pink dye ink. The 'birthday' is from the In a Word: Happy (the stamp set) and was stamped using black dye ink on a piece of white cardstock. I then embossed a piece of green cardstock using Provo Craft's Swiss Dots embossing folder to create the grassy effect. And my card was done! This was so fun to put together.

I am entering this card in the following challenges by Winnie and Walter:
Stamp Images Mash Up Challenge with Jessica
Number Cruncher Challenge with Keren
Dress Up Your Die Cuts Challenge with Gayatri (I've done ink blending on the 'happy' die cut)
Lucky 7 Limit Challenge with Shay - My lucky 7 goes like this: 3 stamp sets + 3 die sets + 1 embossing folder.
Ink Blending Challenge with Lea (I've done ink blending on the 'happy' die cut)

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. If you did, please let me know! I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday | Card

Hello everyone!
This is my second post for the day. To view my first post, please click HERE.

I made this card keeping in mind a couple of challenges from Winnie and Walter's World Card Making Day challenges. This card features some of my favourite Winnie and Walter products. I have been in absolute love with the In Bloom: Maggie's Roses Cutaways die for as long as I can remember, and I finally got my hands on this set last year, but wasn't able to use it till now. I'm so happy to finally get a chance to use it!

To create this card, I first started by die cutting my card panel using the scalloped frame die from the Essentials: Audrey's Cutaways. Next, I die cut the roses and leaves from In Bloom: Maggie's Roses Cutaways and lightly ink blended them using dye inks from Altenew. I did some stenciling on the background using the Scenery: Do You See What I See? Creative Screenings to add some more interest to my card.

I created my own sentiment by using sentiments from two different stamp sets: In a Word: Happy and The Big, the Bold and Party. All that was needed to complete this card were black ink paint splatters and few clear sequins, and my card was finished.

I am entering this card in the following challenges by Winnie and Walter:
Ink Blending Challenge with Lea
Dress Up Your Die Cuts Challenge with Gayatri (I've done ink blending on the die cut roses and leaves)
Stamp Images Mash Up Challenge with Jessica
Number Cruncher Challenge with Keren (I have added two flowers as my focal, six sequins, and eight leaves on my card so all my elements are in even numbers)
Lucky 7 Limit Challenge with Shay - My lucky 7 goes like this: 2 stamp sets + 2 die sets + 3 tools (blending tools, die cutting machine, adhesive)

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. If you did, please let me know! I would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Floral Happy Birthday | Card

Hi, friends!
I am sharing a card I made for my DT inspiration post at Mudra using few of their new stamps. Here's a look at my card :

Few close up shots :

To create this card, I took an A2 white card base and die-cut a rectangle frame to fit my card front using some Gold Glitter paper. I kept aside the frame and did not adhere it right away.
I made some watercolored stripes on my card front using a light blue shade of Distress ink. These were hand painted using a flat brush. I really loved the soft look of it.
Now, for the main focal of my card. I first stamped the sentiment for my card - I decided to go with "Happy birthday". It was stamped using some Versafine Onyx Black ink and is from the Mudra- Brushed Sentiments set. Since the font is pretty bold and it is in a brush lettered font, it creates a really striking focal.  I, then stamped and fussy-cut some flowers & leaves using the Mudra Daisy Blooms and Botanical Blooms set. I have used the Altenew Mini Inks for stamping all the flowers & leaves- Red Cosmos, Green Fields & Summer Afternoon. Adhered them using some foam tape and added the glitter frame to my card base that I had die-cut earlier. Finally added some sequins from my all time favourite, Pretty Pink Posh to finish off the card.

Linking his card to STAMPlorations CASEplorations Challenge- CASEing Shalu's card (I was inspired by the stripes and the florals), NBUS Challenge- My Mudra Happy birthday stamp set is brand new and I finally used the Gold Glitter paper which was there in my stash for a long time, ColourQ #356, Sweet Stampin- No Designer paper and Little Red Wagon- Birthdays

I hope you like my card. Do leave me your comments/suggestions regarding it. I love to hear from you! :)

Have a nice day everyone!

This is the box that I have upcycled :

To make the base of my box I have first taken some water-color paper and added texture to it by stenciling it with texture paste and the damask Prima stencil.I have added a dash of Lindy's sprays to my texture paste to give a hint of color to it.Then, I have distressed it completely using Spun Sugar and a bit of Fired Brick distress inks. Also, I have distressed the edges of the paper using my scissors and this forms the base of the box on the top and on the sides.I have then embellished it using MDF embellishments and my ever favorite flowers using Spellbinder dies and colored it using Distress Stains.A little bit of pearls here and there and some delicate foliage completes my project! :)
I have also decorated the insides of the box with some Martha Stewart punched laces and a base white paper.
Finally, added some yummy chocolates to it and my gift is ready to be shared :)
