Hi Friends,
Today sharing with you all an upcycled Gift box which I have made for my Guest Designer spot at LESSology as they are celebrating their second birthday blogoversary. I am thrilled to  be a part of their birthday celebration as the team of LESSology is a very talented  bunch and they always come up with some fabulous upcycling ideas. If you haven't checked out their blog yet drop in here I promise you won't be disappointed :)  Ok now here's a look at what I have made for  my guest designing spot :
I have up-cycled an old I-cod tablet box to create this gift box. Here is a look at how it looks from the top and the sides :

This is the box that I have upcycled :

To make the base of my box I have first taken some water-color paper and added texture to it by stenciling it with texture paste and the damask Prima stencil.I have added a dash of Lindy's sprays to my texture paste to give a hint of color to it.Then, I have distressed it completely using Spun Sugar and a bit of Fired Brick distress inks. Also, I have distressed the edges of the paper using my scissors and this forms the base of the box on the top and on the sides.I have then embellished it using MDF embellishments and my ever favorite flowers using Spellbinder dies and colored it using Distress Stains.A little bit of pearls here and there and some delicate foliage completes my project! :)
I have also decorated the insides of the box with some Martha Stewart punched laces and a base white paper.
Finally, added some yummy chocolates to it and my gift is ready to be shared :)

Guest Designing for IBSIC # 51! :)

Hi friends,
The card I am sharing today was made for my GD post at Inspired by Stamping inspiration Challenge # 51....So here's a look at my card first :-

And another view :-

My card is based on the color inspiration provided by the IBS ...Which is White,Orange and Green ...Here's a look at the color palette :

These colors are so vibrant and of course co -incidentally also the colors of our Indian national flag  :)...It was tough to use to use these colors but with a little hard work and with the help of lot of dies...LOL! ...This is what I have created :) ...The orange rose is handmade using the Layered rose die from MFT ...I am so in love with it !! ...The rest of leaves and foliage is all from Cheery-Lynn ...Even the banner on which I have stamped the sentiment is made from Cheery Lynn Lace Deco F corners by doing some clever cutting & sticking it on the sides of the small strip of white cardstock ...And I have covered a strip of white cardstock with Washi Tape and cut it out using a decorative scissors to create the scallop border in the bottom half of my card ...I love using washi tapes they are so versatile !!..So that's about all the info about my card !!
I am entering my this card too in Brenda's challenge as we both love using the trellis design and Brenda has made so many gorgeous trellis cards which you can see Here ,Here And  Here . ...:)

Congrats !!

Hi Friends,
Today the card that I am sharing is the one that I have made for my GD post at Catchy Challenges run by Deepti ..She has started this new challenge blog with some really Fab challenges and Yummy Prizes ....So  do check out her blog Here ..And  here's a look at my card  based on her challenge :-

Since this card had to be based on the inspiration picture below I had to play along with only two colors so I kept my base brown and scored my cardstock on the bottom half using MS score board and to darken the upper half I inked it with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then stamped and colored some flower then fussy cut them and popped them on dimensions also placed an die cut flourish below and inked it in blue as well ...Oh and did you notice the blue ribbon bow ...Well that is the Seam Binding ribbon which I had got from Priya's store and inked it using A -La -Mode dye ink to match with my flowers :) ...Doesn't that look Fabby :)...If you are interested on how to color your Seam Binding I have a Tutorial Here

Supplies Used :
Base CS : Local buy
