Hi Friends,
Today I am sharing an upcycled gift box I have made using Mod Podge.. And one of the common technique using Mod Podge is 'Decoupage' where in you apply Mod Podge on any surface and cover it with color paper and in My case pattern paper and then apply Mod Podgeover it again to seal it.. I have up-cycled/.recycled an old gift box by covering it with white cardstock first then layered it with pattern paper with stamping on it done with Her Arts Flourish Background Stamp and then embellished it using various dies..Here's a look at My box :-
And a look at how it looks on the sides :
And a look at how it opens and a front view :
And if you have noticed I have used the local Handmade paper to make my flower's and all the greenery is also cut from Handmade paper I really liked the subtle glitter this paper gives and its so easy to cut through these paper's using dies ...They do get stuck with punches but with dies it cuts smooth as butter :) ..And all the small flowers are punched from plain white card stock and colored with distress inks..Don't they look so pretty :) !!!
The color's for my box were inspired by the Itsy Bitsy Color challenge where we were asked to create any project using Greens and blue's with a neutral color and this is my take on it ...:)
Hope you all like my box ...Please do leave me your comments/suggestion's would love to hear from you :)
