A Valentine Birdhouse! :)..

Hi friends,
Today sharing with you all a birdhouse which I have made as an inspiration for Crafter's Corner #  4-"Anything but a Card or Lo "...Please check out my post in the Crafters Corner Blog HERE...And here's a look at what I have made :)

And another view :-

And a close-up of  the sentiment  which I have placed inside the birdhouse :-

I have made this birdhouse using a template which I found from Pinterest...And since I do not have any heart die I have hand cut the central heart using an Exacto Knife & paper- pieced the cute little birdie from DCWV Pattern Paper (Itsy Bitsy) ..
This birdhouse was quite easy to make once all the pieces from the template are cut out...The tough part for me was in embellishing it..So many ideas were running through my mind that I could not decide on any particular one..
Can you see that small heart charm below the bird...Thats recycled from an old keychain I had..Isn't that so pretty..? ;)..And all my leaves are die cut from old wedding cards as I really like the thickness of the papers & the look they give when they are embossed & distressed using inks..!!

For those of you who are interested in the template ...You can check it out Here ...Its from Papercraft Inspiration blog & they have many more freebies templates and other downloads too!...I am sure you will love it ..Do check it out! :)
